Family Entertainment Center Mother’s Day Activity Objectives

Activity Preparation
1) Activity Materials
Download songs in advance, prepare activity prizes, small red flowers, park vouchers, experience vouchers, Mother’s Day gifts, etc.
(Mother’s Day gifts can include carnations, household items such as tissues and toiletries, or educational toys and stationery such as storybooks, pencil cases, and drawing supplies.)
2) Event Promotion
1. Post event notices or erect advertising boards at the park’s cashier in advance, informing customers of the Mother’s Day event details.
2. Four days before Mother’s Day, staff can verbally remind parents of the Mother’s Day event details when they bring their children to the park.
3. Promote the event in advance on the children’s park’s media platforms, posting event information and special offers online.
4. Send SMS messages to existing members’ mobile phones with information about the children’s park’s Mother’s Day event and park membership discounts.
3) On-site Decoration
1. Decorate the entrance with red and pink balloons, ribbons, cartoon decorations, and heart-shaped graphics. Write the park’s Mother’s Day event theme on the entrance to create a joyful atmosphere and attract customers’ attention.
2. Play upbeat children’s songs inside the park.
Activity Content
01 Opening Performance
Play the background music of “Baby Shark,” and the host will lead the children participating in the activity in singing and dancing.
02 I Throw, You Catch
Materials: Timer, ocean balls, 5 baskets.
How to Play: 5 families form a group. Each mother has a basket or crate. From the same distance, the child throws the ball to the mother, who catches it with the basket or crate.
The parent-child group that throws the most ocean balls into the ocean within the time limit wins and receives a prize.
03 Three-Legged Race
Materials: Timer, several strips of cloth (rope).
How to Play: 5 families form a group. Mothers and children participate together.
The two children tie their closest legs together with the cloth strip and run forward together. The family that reaches the finish line first wins and receives a prize.
04. Little Home, Let’s Build Together
Materials: Timer, building blocks from the indoor playground (divided into 6 piles). Print out the designated house model images before the activity and hang them in the competition area for participating families to refer to.
How to Play: Six families form a group. Parents and children work together to build a house according to the designated house model image. The family that builds the fastest and most realistically wins.
05. Clever Hand-Painting, Expressing Love
Materials: Several sets of pink or red cardstock, scissors, watercolor pens, etc.
How to Play: Cardstock, scissors, and watercolor pens are distributed to each participating family. Staff and parents help children cut out heart-shaped cards. Then, parents help children write Mother’s Day wishes, such as: “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!”
After writing the message, children can freely doodle on the cards with watercolor pens. During the activity, staff and parents can guide children on how to draw flowers, hearts, small animals, etc.
After the gift is given, the child will personally present it to their mother, kiss her, and say, “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!”
