New children’s playground owners often overlook these three key points.

In recent years, with the expansion of the children’s playground industry, these businesses have gradually become one of the most promising and profitable investment opportunities in the market, attracting numerous investors!

Seeing other children’s playgrounds enjoying booming business with a constant flow of children, I’m tempted to open one myself.

So, what are some key considerations for newcomers?

Children's Playground Safety

Children’s Playground Safety Issues

Children’s playground safety is a major concern for parents, so playground operators must implement effective safety measures.

Safety details include three aspects: equipment safety, venue safety, and play safety.

1) Equipment Safety:

• Choose safe and reliable amusement equipment. Never blindly pursue cheap products to save costs, as this can create safety hazards due to quality issues during subsequent use.

• Regularly inspect equipment to ensure it is functioning properly, with parts tightly fitted and wiring intact. Damaged equipment should be shut down and warning signs and guardrails should be installed.

2) Site Safety:

• Observe the park’s safety measures to avoid sharp, exposed metal objects and other surfaces to prevent children from getting hurt or injured during play.

• Electrical wiring inspections and firefighting equipment are in place. Ensure that all outlets are childproof (those that children cannot insert their fingers into) and that power supplies are equipped with leakage protection.

3) Play Safety:

• Deploy professional personnel to maintain order in the park and properly guide children entering. Any fighting or playful activity should be promptly stopped.

• Supervisors must be assigned to areas with large crowds of children, such as ball pools and sand pits. In addition, for some projects with faster speeds, higher equipment, and greater excitement, store clerks must provide timely reminders and always pay attention to children’s play to avoid accidents.

Employee Management

Good staff management not only simplifies operations but also effectively improves employee motivation.

This is conducive to the long-term operation of a children’s playground, ensuring greater growth and profitability.

1. A reasonable division of labor and orderly management.

This allows for closer collaboration among employees and provides superior customer service.

2. Emphasize employee training.

This includes training in product knowledge, service techniques, communication skills, and emergency response.

3. Strengthen employee-customer connections.

Encourage employees to proactively interact with customers and demonstrate a friendly and welcoming attitude.

4. Provide appropriate rewards to motivate employees.

For example, provide appropriate cash rewards to employees with good monthly or quarterly performance and high card opening rates.

Environmental and Sanitation Issues

Children’s playgrounds are places for children to play, and many parents are particularly concerned about hygiene. Poor hygiene practices can leave customers with a poor experience, making it difficult to attract repeat customers.

Regardless of size, cleanliness and hygiene are crucial, creating a welcoming and tidy environment for customers and building a positive impression.

1. Clean and disinfect the playground before and after business hours daily.

2. Instruct children to change shoes and wear socks when entering the playground.

3. Maintain a clean environment, promptly pick up trash, and clean up any stains.
